Well-being

The Well-being Council are very enthusiastic and we are working hard to support all the school pupils to develop into healthy and confident individuals whom are ready to live life to the full as valuable members of the community. We hold numerous varied activities at the school, concentrating on supporting wellbeing and encouraging positive thinking. The Council meets on a regular basis and we are a very hardworking team. This year we intend to create and sell a recipe book full of our pupils, and the community's healthy recipes. Last year we created friendship bracelet, cards, badges and posters with important messages focusing on welfare and being positive to further develop our enterprise and business skills. As members of the Well-being Council, we are encouraging pupils to help, and to be kind to others. We wear a badge to remind everyone that we are happy to chat and are ready to help. Last year, we raised £150 towards Macmillan, and we intend to support our local food bank this year. We enjoy supporting various charities and our local community. One of the things that we are very proud of is developing a quiet and relaxing room at the school. We've named it 'Ystafell Enfys' and it's been a huge success by supporting the children. Developing a positive mindset is very important to us. Hello my name is Harri. I'm on the Wellbeing council, and I'm chairman. I'm looking forward to supporting the food bank in Corwen. In my spare time I like to play football. I support Tottenham. My favorite food is pasta. I'm looking forward to being chairman of the Wellbeing Council to help everyone in the School look after each other. Come for a chat, or to share any ideas you have with the Wellbeing Council. The Welfare Council collected £145 for MacMillan by organising a fun day at School. Thanks to the Council for organising!
